Hannah Elisabeth Parrish, a member of the 2025 graduating class, is the daughter of Justin Parrish and Betsy Parrish of Knox City. She is involved in FFA, FBLA, Choir, and is Student Council secretary and Bus Cafe manager. Hannah’s plans after high school are to attend Culver-Stockton College to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Her favorite teacher throughout high school was Miss Lisa Blake, choir and band director. Hannah said she not only made her a better singer but also a better person. Her favorite memory during high school was working hard to grow in choir and building positive relationships with students and teachers. Hannah’s most proud moment in high school was making the all-state choir.

Some influential people for Hannah were Miss Blake and her grandpa. Miss Blake has helped Hannah grow her voice and confidence level throughout her time in choir. Hannah’s grandpa influenced her because her one goal in life has always been to make her papa proud, which is not difficult, she said, since he used to cry anytime she had a small accomplishment. Hannah said growing and improving her voice and her life in general would be enough to make him endlessly proud. In ten years, Hannah sees herself as a wife, mother and preschool teacher.
