Ian Kelsey

Ian Matthew Kelsey is a senior in the Knox County Class of 2026. He is the son of Alec Kelsey of Moberly and Cristie Johnson and Matt Johnson of Edina. Throughout high school, he has been involved in football, baseball and track. He has also been a part of the basketball team as a manager.
Ian’s favorite high school memory is hanging out with his friends in the library. He shared that he also loved being a manager for the boys' basketball team. Ian’s favorite things to do outside of school include playing video games, building LEGOs and sleeping. He says that the one word he would use to describe himself is "determined." He also spends time working at the Eagle's Nest on the weekends and with Scott Gamm as an apprentice.
Ian plans to attend State Tech in Linn and become an electrician. In 10 years, he sees himself somewhere in Missouri.
