Liberty Nelson

Liberty “Libby” Jolee Nelson, the daughter of Ryan and Amber Nelson of Novelty, is a member of the 2026 graduating class. Throughout her high school career, Libby has been an active member in choir, flags and Art Club.
Throughout high school, her favorite teacher has been English teacher, Mrs. Laura Greenley. “We get along really well and she's really pretty,” she explained. When asked who the most influential person in her life is, she stated, “Myself, because I always encourage myself to work to the best of my ability.” In her free time, Libby enjoys sleeping because “it’s relaxing.” Two things on Libby’s bucket list are traveling to London and living her life to the fullest. “I want to see London because I think it is beautiful there, and also British men are cute.” Three words that Libby would use to describe herself are "charismatic, joyful and honest.”
Libby’s future plans are to attend Truman State University to major in Forensic Sciences and minor in Psychology.
