Today, students in Mrs. Greenley's LA 2 class presented checks to local non-profit organizations. During their Julius Caesar unit, students learned about rhetorical strategies and studied the funeral speeches from the play. Following this, students chose a local non-profit organization and wrote their own speech persuading Mrs. Greenley to donate to their chosen organization. Students and teachers voted for the most persuasive speeches in each class. Joey Davis, Zoey Rack and Emily Carlson presented a total of $75 to the VFW and Hannah Miller presented $25 to the Local Cancer Fund.

The middle school and high school music students have been hard at work preparing their Christmas music. Due to the pandemic, we felt the safest option for our performance was a virtual concert. These kids are so resilient. Even with illnesses, quarantines, and virtual learning, they stepped up to the plate and helped me put something together to send out. The different groups are timestamped in the description if there is a specific group you're looking for. You will see a variety of small groups, solos, and ensembles. There are even a couple bloopers at the end. Please enjoy our music, and Merry Christmas!!! Go Eagles!!!
