After learning of a positive COVID19 case and possible exposure to some of our students and staff in the elementary, the Knox County R-I School District in collaboration with the health department have conducted contact tracing and determined that for the health and safety of students and staff, all second grade and fourth grade students will be going to virtual learning for the next two weeks. The junior varsity softball games originally scheduled for today with Marceline and Monday with Community R-VI have been canceled. The second game today, with Marceline, will be a junior high game.
Due to health concerns, Highland will not be able to compete in varsity/JV softball on Thursday. These games are canceled.
