Dear Knox County R-I Parents,
I want to let you know of a situation that occurred in our middle school this morning. Prior to first hour today, it was brought to our attention that a 6th grade student made threat towards classmates and a school employee. We are investigation the situation and have removed any immediate threat.
Our schools are committed to providing a safe environment for all students. Our teachers, principals and support staff are dedicated to providing a positive learning culture. Some of the information we were made aware of could have been reporter sooner. Please encourage your students to report anything that they are concerned about by talking to an adult at school or going to our website. We do have a link on our website where you can post anonymously. Just click on the link “Hear Something, See Something, Say something”.
Please know that we are fully aware of the situation and are handling the matter by board policy.

Knox County 2019 Kindergarten/Preschool Screening


For Friday’s middle school games at Salisbury, parking is available by the football field. Also, the Salisbury NHS is sponsoring a soup supper. Game time is 6:00 in the south gym.


Friday’s middle school games at Salisbury will be one girls game at 6:00 followed by one boys game. Games will be in the south gym.
