Knox County R-I Elementary would like to announce their new hires for the '24-'25 school year. Mrs. Ashley Hicks will be teaching 2nd grade. Mr. Alexander Nunn will be teaching 1st grade. Kaitlin Smith will be teaching Kindergarten. Please help us welcome them to Knox County!
2024-2025 School Calendar
Buses will be loaded first in front of the bus cafe. Parents arriving for parent pickup should use the east entrance and park in the east lot(HS parking). Students will be dismissed for pick up after the buses leave.
The elementary parking lot is closed for the summer. Please drop off students by the Bus Café, also known as the basketball game entrance. The Knox City bus will be picking up 10 minutes later starting tomorrow.

Knox County R-I School District would like to announce our new Innovative Learning Specialist, Mrs. Sarah Setzer. Mrs. Setzer joins us from the elementary to fill the role left by Mrs. Becky Barnhill, after she accepted the position of 6-12 Assistant Principal. Welcome, Mrs. Setzer!
On Sunday, May 19th, Knox County R-I High School held the 60th Annual Senior Graduation. 28 current seniors and six early graduates were honored in the ceremony. Speaker, local legend Laden Force, spoke of Knox County greats, Carol Gross and Esty Eyler in his wonderful commencement speech and earned lots of smiles. Congratulations, Seniors!
