It has been a busy week for Mrs. Huchteman and the FACS department! After school Cooking Club started this week for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. We had so much fun we forgot to take pictures with our 5th graders! The Nest students reloaded the truck and are ready to see you at the first home baseball game on Tuesday. Child Development has been working on an event to test preschoolers' motor development and finally got to see their hard work come to fruition today. We're looking forward to working with the other preschool classes!

Varsity Scholar Bowl competed at conference tournament on Saturday. They went undefeated in the preliminary rounds, but lost a tough match to Marceline 200-240 in the semi-final round. They finish conference matches with a record of 9-2. Congratulations to John Clark & Grayson Miller for taking home conference honors. John took 1st place All-Conference team, 2nd place All-Tournament team, & Grayson placed 7th on All-Tournament team. The team is coached by Miss Amy McNabb.
On Saturday the middle school scholar bowl teams competed in the SPRINT Bowl at Scotland County.
The 6th grade team got 2nd place in the 5th and 6th grade division with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss.
Jason Devlin earned captain of the all tournament team.
In the 7th and 8th grade division, Knox C ended in 5th place with a record of 5 wins and 2 losses. Knox A and Knox B both ended the day with 2 wins and 5 losses.
Patrick Clark claimed captain of the all tournament team and Thatcher Townsend earned 3rd.

Congrats to the JV campus bowl team for a great night at the Scotland and Schuyler County JV Tri-Meet on Tuesday evening. These scholars from the Knox Red team finished the night 3-1. The team is coached by Mrs. Libby Hunziker.
