Knox County R-I is pleased to announce Mrs. Becky Barnhill as our new elementary principal for the 2025-2026 school year! In addition, Mrs. Melissa Vannoy will be assuming her new role as the Federal Programs Director for the 2025-2026 school year! Congratulations!
Scholar Bowl kicked off the season at Schuyler’s WIT on Saturday. One team went 6-3 to win the consolation bracket (9th place overall), and the other team went 5-4 to place 11th out of 24 teams. Congrats to John Clark for placing 5th on the All-Tournament team!

The Knox County R-I School District extends our deepest condolences to the families of Phil Gragg and Bob Kincaid. These two men gave decades of service to our county and our kids. Phil served as our bus mechanic for 22 years. Bob was our custodian for 44 years. Fly high gentlemen!
Tonight's (1/10) home Varsity Basketball games are cancelled. Elementary Elvis Eagle recognition will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at halftime of the girl's game.
